We run tours and tastings from Easter until the end of October, most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If a date is not showing it is fully booked or booked for a private event. You can either book direct on to a tour or gift a tour and tasting voucher for the recipient to book on a tour date
We do not walk a long way with the tour, you are welcome to wander further after the tasting, and a seat can be discreetly produced if needed. Our winery is close by but does have a rough cobbled floor and a stone step. If you need assistance let us know we will do our best to accommodate.
We can reschedule your tour once if you let us have at least 48 hours notice. We cannot reschedule again. We cannot reschedule your tour if you do not turn up for your booked tour. Please do choose a date carefully as time spent rescheduling tours is spent away from essential work on the vineyard.
This very much depends on what you want to see. The vines are dormant and hard pruned over winter, around late spring bud burst occurs. Flowers appear on the vines usually in June and fruit starts forming straight after flowering. We harvest early to mid September right through October depending on the weather.
The tour and the working nature of the farm are not suitable for children
No, dogs are not permitted at the vineyard or left in a car. There are sheep at the vineyard. Assistance dogs are welcome.
If you have a party of 20 or more we may be able to run a private tour and tasting, please contact us for details.
You can buy Tour & Tasting vouchers on our shop page under ‘Gift Vouchers’. Vouchers can be used for booking onto any tour and are valid for 12 months subject to availability.
Please choose your date from the available list on the ‘Tours’ page and either email us or telephone us with your preferred date, we will confirm the date by email. We will ask you for either a voucher number or in the case of print at home vouchers, the voucher purchasers name.
We no longer accept Activity Superstore vouchers.
We have selected dates, Fridays and Saturdays during the summer season. Please note demand is high for the vineyard B&B. We do not provide vouchers for stays.
For guests staying with us you can add the option of a wine tour and tasting to your booking. Tours will be held at 4pm Fridays and 3pm Saturdays on the day of arrival.
Check in is from 3pm, we do ask politely that you do not arrive too early to check in, we are working hard to clean and prepare rooms for you and it does take some time. Check out is 10.30am.

There are two local pubs both serving delicious food, The Jolly Farmers at Leavening is less than 1.5 miles and The Blacksmith's Arms at Westow is around 3 miles away. Details of both can be found on their websites.
If we are fully booked, there are places to stay in Malton approximately seven miles away or surrounding villages, more information can be found on www.visitmalton.com and www.yorkshire.com/malton both sites feature local accommodation providers, hotels, inns and camping and glamping sites.
Alternatively, we can recommend Burythorpe House Hotel who are approximately 4 miles from the vineyard. Taxis are available from Malton railway station. We would recommend pre booking your taxi.

If only it was that easy. I am afraid quantities of wine are dictated by the previous years harvest, more will be made only after the next harvest. We are planting as quickly as we are able to increase quantities. We do not buy in grapes or juice, everything we sell is grown on our vineyards.

Although our postal address is Westow, we are on the road to Leavening. A map can be found here. Our ///what3words are bubbles.outlined.chaos.
